Limerick, Ireland — June 1st, 2021 Procad Ltd, the leading provider design and engineering software solutions to the Irish market, today announced it has been acquired by Addnode Group, the owner of Symetri, Europe’s leading Autodesk solution provider.

The acquisition of Procad Ltd is in line with Symetri’s strategy to be an international market-leading partner of software and services to the construction and manufacturing industries.

Their vision to Inform – Inspire – Empower customers will continue to be pivotal and is very well connected with Symetri’s guiding star: To challenge people to work smarter for a better future. Procad will now have extensive R&D capacity and a wider range of products including the product brands of Naviate, Sovelia and with increased ability to offer the market intelligent SAM solutions.

From now on Procad will be able to provide customers with more technology and expertise within the full Autodesk portfolio and more leading technology solutions for customers operating within the Manufacturing, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Infrastructure industries in Ireland.

Naviate, Sovelia and CQ products are central pillars of the Symetri Technology Unit product portfolio. These solutions are developed in response to our customers’ needs and each product line has potential to grow and succeed in the global markets now and in the years to come.

AUTODESK UPDATED TRANSACTION PROCESS ANNOUNCED FOR THE US & CANADA

Autodesk launched a new transaction process to customers who purchase subscriptions in Australia in November 2023. Following a successful trial, they have announced a go-live date of 10th June 2024 for the US & Canada. No timeline has been shared for other geographies, but Autodesk does intend to roll the new process out globally over the next 2 years.
