Lumion

Lumion is a rendering software for architects. The software includes tools that help you communicate the idea behind your 3D design with compelling images, videos and 360-degree panoramic views with photographic quality. Bring your drawings to life by adding realistic trees and stylish effects, you can choose from thousands of different objects and materials from the integrated content library.

More programs are compatible with Lumion. Among them are Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Archicad, SketchUp and Rhino. Install the LiveSync plugin for different programs to connect Lumion to the 3D model and visualize in real time, or export scenes and import into Lumion.

You can choose between Lumion View, Lumion Pro and Lumion Studio. 

Lumion View: The simplest subscription for those working with real-time rendering for early design phases.

Lumion Pro: Professional real-time visualization for detailed design, with full control over context, lighting, materials, realism and results.

Lumion Studio: The most complete subscription with the largest range of design, visualization and collaboration tools for an efficient workflow – from first sketch to final approval.

A named-user license is a named user license that is assigned to a specific person. Lumion View and Lumion Pro include named user licenses. 

A floating license is a “floating license” that allows multiple people to use Lumion, as the license “floats” between individual users. The person who needs the license can run the software as long as there is free space. The software can be installed on multiple computers at the same time. Lumion Studio is required to access floating licenses.

Lumion Cloud is a new collaboration platform where you can share renderings, collect feedback, manage approvals, and bring all your project discussions together in one place. Fully aligned with Lumion Pro and Lumion View workflows, Lumion Cloud gives you control over the entire review process, from initial idea to final approval.

You only need a Lumion account to get started with Lumion Cloud. Beyond that, no other installation or IT setup is required.
