Only One. Autocad.
As of 22 March 2018, AutoCAD subscription will now include access to the capabilities of AutoCAD vertical products as part of one, single AutoCAD offering.
The new AutoCAD will be referred to as “AutoCAD including specialised toolsets”.
The benefits of this new AutoCAD offering include:
  • Provide greater value to subscribers
  • Simplify the product line making it easier for customers to choose what they want in one offering including vertical functionality.
  • Speed up their work with specialized features & libraries for mechanical design, architecture, 3D mapping, and more while working in a familiar AutoCAD interface.
  • Enjoy greater mobility with the new web and mobile apps.
  • Draft and design using the latest features included in subscriber-only updates.
What is changing with the release of AutoCAD 2019?
To provide more value to subscribers and to simplify the AutoCAD product line -AutoCAD subscription will include access to all AutoCAD vertical product functionality and libraries as specialised toolsets.
What are the benefits to our customers of combining AutoCAD vertical functionality and AutoCAD into one offering?
Subscribers will no longer have to access AutoCAD vertical functionality through separate offerings – by subscribing to AutoCAD, customers will now have access to the capabilities of multiple AutoCAD vertical toolsets in one AutoCAD. You will have a choice of vertical toolsets to meet your business needs.

What is the list of specialised toolsets included in AutoCAD 2019?
Specialized toolsets for architecture, mechanical design, 3D mapping, and more go beyond the general AutoCAD features, giving you industry-specific capabilities to:
  • Access libraries of symbols, parts and detail components.
  • Automate the creation of annotations, layers and properties.
  • Easily create details and views from 3D models, and simply generate schedules, lists and tables.
  • Create rules-driven workflows to enforce standards throughout the design process.
Is Autodesk Civil 3D included as part of the AutoCAD including specialised toolset offering?
No. Autodesk Civil 3D will not be included.
Is AutoCAD LT included in the AutoCAD including specialised toolsets offering?
No. AutoCAD LT is not included.
Are AutoCAD web and AutoCAD mobile apps included in the AutoCAD including specialised toolsets?
Subscribers to AutoCAD including specialised toolsets will be entitled
to use AutoCAD web and AutoCAD mobile apps as part of their subscription.
The AutoCAD web and mobile apps, included with an AutoCAD subscription, enable customers to access their full CAD drawings from virtually any device. The apps
let customers make accurate assessments and changes in the field, reducing unnecessary trips back to the office. The apps enable subscribers to:
  • View, edit, create, and share drawings whether in the office or field
  • Easily add blocks, markup, manipulate layers, and take measurements on-the-go
  • Always have the most up-to-date working file
Will Autodesk Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection and Autodesk
Product Design & Manufacturing Collection include access to the specialised toolsets available with AutoCAD?
Yes. As of April 01st 2018, the Architecture, Engineering & Construction and Product Design & Manufacturing industry collections will include the specialised toolsets included with AutoCAD.
Will trials still be offered for the new AutoCAD including specialised toolsets?
Yes. Trials for AutoCAD and the respective AutoCAD specialised toolsets will continue to be available individually.
How will these changes affect education customers?
There is no change for EDU customers. They will continue to access each of the individual AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD specialised toolsets.
How can existing AutoCAD and AutoCAD vertical subscribers move to the new AutoCAD including specialised toolsets?
Existing subscribers will have the option to either move to the new AutoCAD including
specialised toolsets or continue to renew their current AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD vertical subscription.

Work faster from anywhere with industry-specific toolsets and web and mobile apps.

When you subscribe to AutoCAD including specialized toolsets, you gain access to features and functionality that help you work faster and more efficiently than ever before.

You can design more quickly with industry-specific capabilities that allow you to access to libraries of symbols, parts and detail components. You can work faster by automating the creation of annotations, layers, and properties. You can be more efficient by extending workflows across disciplines more effectively.

And you can do all of this while working in the familiar AutoCAD interface.
