Selection Filters Autodesk Inventor

Selection Filters Autodesk Inventor

Selection filters are available in all different  modes within Inventor

e.g. Part Design, Assembly & Drawings and can be accessed via the quick access toolbar

I find selection filters Functionality very good In Inventor, and a great way to filter to parts and sketches within assembly environment.

However I had a technical support query today in which a customer does not require the Selection filters, and I thought I would share it with you

To deactivate them you simply navigate to “Tools”- “Applications Options”-“General”

Within the “Select Other”  type “Off” although you think it may require a numeric value

it will accept a text Value and it works.

It’s a quick and simple way to deactivate them. Enjoy!!
