Issue:

You are installing Revit LT 2018 using Install Now method and installation fails.

Solution:

You need to download Revit LT 2018  installer via ‘Download Now’ method or ‘Browser Download’ method and then run the product installation (step B).

Step A: You can also download Revit LT 2018 installer from virtual agent.1. Go to http://upandready.typepad.com/up_and_ready/
2. Click on ASK – this opens Autodesk Virtual Agent window
3. Click on Download Links
4. Click on Revit Products
5. Then on Revit LT
6. Select the appropriate product and click the link to download.

Note: you need to save all 3 parts of Revit LT 2018 installer in the same folder (e.g. C:\Autodesk).  Then double-click on the first file (the file that has 001 in its name) to start the product installers extraction process.

Step B: Install Revit LT 2018 as follows:
1. Logon as an Administrator.
2. Empty your TEMP folder.  To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Explorer and hit Enter.
3. Disable your Antivirus software.
4. Disable UAC.

5.Install Revit LT 2018.
