How to: Find Serial Numbers & Product Keys
You will need a serial number and product key to activate your Autodesk software.
Serial numbers and Product keys are generally available in your account portal.
Serial number locations vary based on license and account type.
Serial numbers for Boxed Products versions 2013 and earlier are located on product labelling.
Follow these steps to quickly access your Account and locate your serial number & product key:
1. Access your Autodesk Account
2. Navigate to the Product & Services tab.
3. Locate the software you wish to download in the list of Products & Services. Click the arrow next to the product name to expand the product details tray.

When you purchase a license software, you create or sign in to an existing Autodesk Account, this is where your Serial Number and Product Key will be stored. Serial numbers are available for perpetual licenses, subscriptions, and Education accounts.
If you are using an older version of your product and the product key is not visible in your Autodesk Account, they can be easily accessed in the links proved below.
Product keys may be required for installation of Autodesk products and are used to differentiate products that are sold both independently or as part of an industry collection.
If you purchased your product as part of a Suite: The same product key is used to activate all products within the Suite. However, you need a different product key for any product that is not part of that Suite. You will get an activation error if you enter the wrong key.

Note: Be sure to use the correct product key for the Autodesk product and version you are installing. Entering an incorrect product key will result in activation errors for that product.
