Autodesk Launch Android Apps

Autodesk Launch Android Apps

With their Sketchbook Mobile app for iPhone and iPad reaching 2.2million downloads since its release in September of last year, Autodesk have now launched their first Android Apps – Sketchbook Mobile and AutoCADWS. Both applications are free to download via the android market.

Sketchbook Mobile allows you to digitally capture your ideas as napkin sketches or produce artwork on-the-go. It offers a full set of sketching tools, a streamlined intuitive user interface for professionals and novices to digital drawing. The only thing limiting you with this handy piece of software is your own creative ability. Meaning artistic creativity is possible with merely your touchscreen!!

Imagine being with a potential client and having the ability to document rough concepts then and there, compared to translating handmade sketches into drawings afterwards for reviewal. AutoCAD WS lets you view and edit DWG files stored locally (SD card) or you can upload drawings to your online AutoCAD WS account and share them via email. The application comes with Draw, Edit and Markup Tools and is a quick and efficient medium to share files with co-workers and clients.
