I have been receiving a few queries on this lately, we are all familiar with the model browser in Autodesk Inventor and what it does.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the model browser, the model browser is our history tree the thing on the side of our screen that provides all our origin, planes, axes and our center point. It also provides ease of access to the feature tree of a part and allows us to quickly access those features and sketches. However sometimes we can remove it or close it from our screens by accident and without even realising it.

To resolve this you can do the following:

  • Simply navigate to the “View” Tab – “User Interface” and select Model Browser from the Drop down menu.

Once this is completed the model Browser will appear back on screen.

Hope this helps
