A quick update on the upcoming Autodesk Digital Prototyping Forum that is happening on the 2nd of November 2011 in Birmingham.
There will be presentations from various high profile organisations such as Aston Martin and Parker Hannifin in their use of the Autodesk Digital Prototyping tools. This will prove to be very interesting I’m sure.
The agenda for the day is just released so read on and if you’re interested in attending feel free to make contact with us.
The agenda will be as follows:
A full workflow demo of the tools included within PrDS and the flow of data between them. This will include:
Technical Publications
A customer presentation of how they are using tools like Inventor, Showcase etc to design and manufacture their products
A full workflow demo of the tools included within FDS and the flow of data between them: This will include:
A customer presentation to show how they are using tools within FDS
Breakout sessions are more technical in nature and go into more detail about the features, functions and workflow
Suite Visualisation
Create stunning visualisations as part of your design & engineering process for use with customers and colleagues to quickly & easily communicate effectively.
Up-front Simulation & Analysis
How to get the most from simulation & analysis during the design process to help you get the right design, first time.
Design Automation & Rules Based Design
Ever wanted to automate tasks that you find yourself doing every day? See how you can use Inventor iLogic and other tools to automate repetitive tasks and add rules to your designs.
Factory Utilisation & Layout
Have you wondered if your factory floor layout is optimised to meet your production targets? See how the tools within Factory Design Suite can help you get the most from your production lines.
Digital Requirements Gathering & Concept Design
Want to replace your notepad and pen with digital tools to capture customer needs and requirements that can be used intelligently later in the design process? See how concept design tools within the Suites can help
Technical Illustration & Documentation For Your Customers
Why do you have to create manuals, documentation and instructions so late in the design process? Well now you don’t – see how you can start creating all of your customer documentation earlier within the design process.
Practical Data Management for Design Engineers
Data Management for the Design Engineer – manage all of your Digital Prototyping data in a secure managed environment keeping track of the documents workflow and state.
Up-front Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Use up-front CFD tools to analyse the flow of fluids and simulate heat transfer within your designs to check they will perform as you expect.
See how you can turn Inventor into a virtual flow bench, wind tunnel, or environmental chamber to help understand performance and to assist in making better informed critical design decisions.
