AutoCAD 2018 Stuck at Windows 10 Upon Opening

Issue:

You were able to install AutoCAD 2018 successfully on Windows 10, but when you try to launch it, it stuck on the AutoCAD screen and not responding.

Causes:

This could be caused by compatible version or lack of service pack.

Solution:

Method 1
Try launch AutoCAD in previous compatible mode such as Windows 7 or Vista:

1. Right click on AutoCAD icon, choose Properties.

2. Go to Compatibility Tab, Tick “Run this program in compatibility mode for” and choose Windows 7 or Vista.

3. Click OK and try start AutoCADagain.

Method 2

If the Method 1 fails, try perform a clean uninstall of AutoCAD:

PERFORM A CLEAN UNINSTALL

Then install AutoCAD as new again, follow by new service pack or updates.

Try launch AutoCAD again.
