As Ireland’s first Authorised Autodesk Platinum Partner we have built a strong reputation in the areas of Architectural, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, and Data Management. As part of a rapidly expanding team Procad (now Symetri) have an exciting opportunity for the following position AEC Sales Specialist.

The successful candidate will join Procad (now Symetri)as industry leaders in providing high end design solutions in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction sectors. They will be working closely with the sales and technical teams delivering on projects at a global level, supporting and providing high end engineering and design solutions right across the industry.

What Procad (now Symetri) Offer

Supported by a European team of up to 470 sales and technical experts, the successful candidate can expect on-going technical coaching and regular support. Training on Autodesk design products will be provided as part of your personal and professional development. Career progression is encouraged with several goals and objectives to work towards. There will be opportunities to travel both nationally and internationally, gain valuable experience in new technologies including, Architecture, Engineering design workflows, project implementation and Coordination using BIM Cloud Platforms. The successful candidate will be involved in the management and support of both large and small customer accounts and contracts.

Working closely with the AEC Division Manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Promote Autodesk Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) Solutions in Ireland with new and existing customers
  • Provide customers with proven solutions to address their business issues
  • Deliver active discussion and debate on opportunities for improving business processes
  • Work with customers on a range of AEC projects to identify further upselling opportunities
  • To proactively create and develop your own pipeline of opportunities
  • Achieve team-based sales targets and provide regular forecasts on opportunity / sales pipeline
  • Develop target customers and prospects within a defined sales territory
  • Leverage effective sales processes, tools and methodologies
  • Coordinate with internal resources from internal sales, pre-sales, technical and marketing departments
  • Support all Procad (now Symetri) & Autodesk strategic plans and marketing campaigns
  • Develop, communicate and execute on Procad’s (now Symetri's) sales strategy
  • Communicate at all levels internally and externally including C level executives
  • Become a trusted adviser and business partner for your customers – strong change manager


  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on your own initiative to meet sales and promotional deadlines
  • Knowledge of products within the Autodesk AEC portfolio desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience selling technical or business solutions
  • Good Presentation skills
  • Strong initiative for selling
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on your own initiative to meet sales and promotional  deadlines
  • Strong initiative for support and account management
