2D Drafting: Multi-leader & Dimension Style

Setting up a multi-leader style or a dimension style can save you a lot of time 2D drafting AutoCAD.

Dimensions consist of: dimension text, dimension lines, arrowheads, and extension lines.

There is an immense amount of customisability with Dimensions and Leaders but to name a few options there are Colours, Arrow Types, Line Types, Text Fonts.

To create a new dimension style, open the Create New Dimension Style dialog box, enter a name for the new dimension style, and click Continue.

In the New Dimension Style dialog box, click each tab, and make any changes for the new dimension style.

Multi-leader styles are set up in the same way using the Create New Multi-leader Style dialog box.

Procad Tip: Add these styles to your template file so you can have your own styles available every time you start a new drawing.
