Job Description:

  • Responsible for issuing purchase orders to Suppliers

  • Ensuring on time delivery of the required orders

  • Co-ordinating the company’s purchasing activities

  • Working with the internal teams to ensure that once an order is received from a vendor, it is processed in an efficient manner through the order fulfilment process

  • Providing updates to sales team on lead times and expected delivery times

  • Keeping ERP and CRM system updated with offers, including any Flash Sales, other Promotional Offers as announced by Autodesk

  • Following up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm, change or cancel orders

  • Liaising with Accounts to ensure that all orders are up to date, POs received by month end

  • Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers

  • Developing best practices and documenting the most efficient process

  • Teamwork: you will be a part of a highly motivated and supporting team, you will need to be a team player, while also capable of working on your own initiative

Person Specification:

  • Previous buying/purchasing/planning experience desirable

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems is desirable

  • Ability to understand new systems quickly

  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar position

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to build rapport

  • Team focused

  • Strong Microsoft and administrative skills

  • Quick thinker, and a fast learner

  • Hardworking individual who has the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment
